The forward who recently returned from a lengthy injury layoff, disclosed his choice of his childhood footballing hero, amongst a few other topics.
As reported by the Spanish outlet Vini Jr, when quizzed about his hero opted for Al-Hilal star Neymar Jr.
"My childhood hero? Neymar."
The choice of Vinicius Jr's hero comes as a surprise to many, given his occasional display of love and affection for Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, given the fact he spent a part of his summer holiday with Neymar and the relatively similar style of play the pair share, one could draw a conclusion as to where his affinity for the Brazils number seven stems from.
The Real Madrid forward who has found the back of the net just once this season, will hope he can find rediscover his goalscoring form, as he is expected to lead the Los Blancos attack when they square off against Girona per reports from 90mins.
