Legendary Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan led a youth clinic session for young footballers at Tampa Bay Rowdies following his visit to the United States.
The 37-year-old is in the US for personal business, but took time off his busy schedule to honour an invite from Tampa Bay Rowdies, as he schooled aspiring footballers on the basics of the game.
Gyan also spent time signing autographs and taking photos with fans who were at the venue to watch the former Ghana captain.
The ex-Sunderland forward expressed satisfaction after meeting the young footballers, and was delighted to lead such an inspiring session.
"Inspiring the next Generation. I spent precious time with the kids of Tampa Bay Rowdies in Tampa, Florida. Coaching Clinic, autograph session and interactions," wrote Gyan on social media.
Gyan is revered globally and has a rich history playing against the Yankees. The former Black Stars forward has scored three goals in four meetings against the United States, including two at the FIFA World Cup.
He resigned from the sport this year after an illustrious career which spanned over two decades, as reported by the BBC.
Gyan remains Ghana's all-time leading goal scorer with 51 goals from 109 caps. He also holds the record as Africa's top scorer at the World Cup, with six goals from three tournaments.
