In a chat with his Instagram followers, Gyan was asked about the secret to his good looks.

"I don't drink that's why I'm this fine. It doesn't mean that I'm condemning those who drink alcohol but the secret to my fineness is that I don't drink alcohol," he said, as quoted by ghanasoccernet.com.

The legendary forward spent most of his career playing abroad, where he enjoyed spells in Italy, France, and England. Gyan played for Udinese, Stade Rennais, and Sunderland before moving to the Middle East.

The ex-Ghana captain played for Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates before a spell in China with Shanghai SIPG. He later played for Kayserispor, North East United, and Legon Cities.

He made 109 appearances for the Black Stars, scoring 51 goals for Ghana, as reported by Transfermarkt.

Gyan advises Semenyo

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Gyan has told Black Stars forward, Antoine Semenyo, to keep working hard and he will reach the level he aspires to.

The AFC Bournemouth striker revealed that the ex-Sunderland forward remains his idol and that he still watches highlights of his playing days to pick up some tricks.

Semenyo has endeared himself to Ghanaian fans following his hardworking displays in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Gyan heaps praise on Kudus

Gyan was full of praise for midfielder Mohammed Kudus following his outstanding display during Ghana's game against the Central African Republic.

The newly-signed West Ham United player scored a sensational freekick as Ghana came from a goal down to beat CAR in Kumasi.

The 23-year-old has scored five goals and provided three assists in ten AFCON qualifying games as the four-time African champions return to the Nations Cup.
