David Beckham (Man United, 2000/01)

Beckham became the first Premier League player to score a goal or notch an assist in each of his team's opening six games.

He accomplished the feat with Manchester United during the start of the 2000-01 season.

He delivered an assist to Ronny Johnsen in the Red Devils' 2-0 win over Newcastle United in their Premier League opener.

Beckham then scored goals for Manchester United in their next three games against Ipswich Town, West Ham United, and Bradford City.

Beckham's goal streak ended in the game against Sunderland, but he still managed to impact the contest with an assist to Paul Scholes in the 14th minute.

Beckham helped United record a 3-1 win over Everton in their sixth game of the season, setting up Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's goal in the 38th minute, per the BBC.

Thierry Henry (Arsenal, 2004/05)

Henry became the second Premier League player to score a goal or record an assist in each of his side's opening six games.

He accomplished the feat with Arsenal during the start of the 2004-05 season.

The Gunners began their title defence with a 4-1 win over Everton, with Henry's cross setting up Fredrik Ljungberg for Arsenal's third goal.

Henry then scored goals for Arsenal in their next three matches against Middlesbrough, Blackburn, and Norwich City.

The Frenchman's goal streak ended in the match against Fulham, but he still managed to impact the game with an assist to Ljungberg in the 62nd minute.

Henry found the back of the net again the following league game in Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Bolton, scoring in the 31st minute.

Sergio Aguero (Man City, 2019/20)

Aguero matched Beckham and Henry's feats in the 2019-20 Premier League season, scoring goals in each of Manchester City's first six games against West Ham, Tottenham, Bournemouth, Brighton, Norwich City, and Watford.

The Argentine star scored a total of eight goals during that span.

Erling Haaland (Man City, 2022/23)

Haaland opened his Premier League career with a bang, scoring twice in Manchester City's win over West Ham.

He failed to find the back of the net in his second league outing for City, but he did deliver an assist in their 4-0 win over Bournemouth.

Haaland then went on a scoring tear, netting goals in City's next four matches against Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, and Aston Villa.

The Norwegian star scored ten goals in his first six league games for City. He bagged hat-tricks in City's matches against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, per Sky Sports.

Mo Salah (Liverpool, 2023/24)

Salah joined the exclusive club on Sunday, becoming the fifth player to score or assist in his side's first six games of the Premier League season.

Salah delivered an assist to Luis Diaz in their 1-1 draw against Chelsea in Liverpool's opening match of the 2023-24 Premier League campaign.

He then opened his goal account in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Bournemouth with a strike in the 36th minute.

Salah helped the Reds record a dramatic come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Newcastle in their following match, setting up Darwin Nunez's match-winner in second-half stoppage time.

He then scored Liverpool's third goal in their 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

Salah again turned provider in their following league match against Wolves, with his cross finding Cody Gakpo for Liverpool's equaliser. The Reds went on to win that contest 3-1.

He found the back of the net again in Liverpool's last match against West Ham, scoring a penalty in the 16th minute.

Salah breaks Premier League record

Sports Brief recently reported on Salah breaking a Premier League record in Liverpool's win over West Ham.

He is now the first player in Premier League history to score or assist in 12 straight games.

He started that streak in the 2022-23 season.
