Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen continues to trend online after his penalty miss in Napoli's goalless draw against Bologna in their Serie A encounter.

The 24-year-old had the chance to put his club ahead in the game after they were awarded a penalty for a handball. However, Osimhen failed to convert from the spot and the game ended 0-0.

The Nigerian star also took issue with coach, Rudi Garcia after the Frenchman decided to substitute him - a decision that was not taken lightly by the Super Eagles star, according to Complete Sports.

The former Lille striker has since apologised to the team for the incident but Napoli seems to have taken the situation further with a post trolling Osimhen in TikTok.

The Partenopei posted a video of their goal-scorer calling for the for penalty attempt, with a voice-over trolling him for then missing. The caption of the video is said to read: 'self-irony'.

Nigerians drag Napoli for post trolling Osimhen

"Napoli admin is on Tiktok trolling Victor Osimhen and blocking the comment section. I can understand if this was coming from a rival club but shading your own player is insane."

"This is a video you'd expect from a rival's fan account, even a rival club shouldn't be posting this. but the club he took out of trenches after 33 years had the guts to put this shii up and lock comments."
