Marcus Rashford was reportedly involved in a car crash on Saturday night shortly after Manchester United's win over Burnley.

The United ace was part of the squad that stunned Vincent Kompany's charges 1-0 at Turf Moor during the Premier League meeting.

According to BBC, Bruno Fernandes was the tie's match hero, with the skipper netting a stunning volley to earn the Red Devils a much-needed win.

United earned the crucial win after a streak of poor results that had seen them suffer three defeats on the bounce.

However, the victory was compounded by an unfortunate incident involving Rashford, with multiple reports indicating the forward was involved in a car crash.

Rashford crashes his luxurious Rolls Royce

The Mirror reports that the incident happened shortly after United's win over Burnley.

It is understood that Erik ten Hag's charges returned to the club's training ground momentarily after their Turf Moor trip.

Reports indicate Rashford was driving his £700,000 Rolls Royce collided with another vehicle.

Images of the aftermath have since been shared widely on social media, with Rashford's car evidencing a dent after the crash.

While the accident is said to have left the England international shaken, he was fortunate enough to escape unhurt alongside the other driver.

The accident happened just days ahead of the Red Devils' midweek Carabao Cup clash against Crystal Palace.

Burno scores brilliant volley

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes led by example on Saturday with a sensational volley to give his side the lead against Burnley.

Fresh out of a defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Erik ten Hag’s men went into the game knowing nothing short of a win would appease fans.

There were some notable changes to United’s squad for the Burnley trip, as Jonny Evans came in for Lisandro Martinez, whose absence was confirmed late on Saturday.
