Peter Shalulile is no stranger to equalling records or breaking them.
The Namibian striker has once again made headlines in local football as he scored against Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN 8.
Shalulile needed just 10 seconds to net the opening goal of the game against the Amakhosi in the MTN 8. The Sundowns star charged down Brandon Petersen after Chiefs got the game underway and got a foot on the attempted clearance.
Shalulile then managed to find the net from a tight angle to give his side the lead. Commentators confirmed that the goal was scored in 10 seconds, tying the record for the fastest goal in Premier Soccer League history.
Former Free State Stars player Aleni Lebyane is also credited with scoring in 10 seconds. The South African, however, previously reported that Lebyane took nine seconds for his goal.
The goal also is officially the fastest in the MTN 8, beating the previous record set by Daine Klate. Klate took 34 seconds to score the previous fastest goal.

The Namibian netted his second goal of the game before the halftime break to give Sundowns a 2-1 lead in the game and a 3-2 lead in the tie. It was also his seventh goal against the Soweto-based club in the Brazilians' colours, and his ninth overall.
Shalulile also scored two against the side in the colours of Highlands Park. He hasn't scored against any other PSL outfit as much as he has scored against the Amakhosi.
