Al-Nassr and former Real Madrid winger, Cristiano Ronaldo could be set to make a WWE cameo appearance, thus following the footsteps of his former manager, Jose Mourinho, and his ex-Manchester United teammate, Wayne Rooney.
WWE are planning an event in Saudi Arabia, the Crown Jewel show in Jeddah on November 4. The wrestling company wants the former Juventus winger to be involved at the event, as this would draw in more fans.
Reports have it that the former Manchester United star would receive a 'large appearance fee' if he agrees to make a cameo appearance at the event, a deal WWE would not mind taking due to the status of the Portuguese veteran.
Wrestling reporter Sean Ross Sapp posted on his official handle on X that WWE are yet to confirm if they are working on bringing Ronaldo to their event in Saudi Arabia, according to Daily Star.
"I've asked WWE about the rumours of Cristiano Ronaldo-WWE appearances, and they didn't have an answer," he posted.
If the Real Madrid legend agrees to make an appearance at the event, he wouldn't be the first footballing icon to be involved in one of the wrestling company's shows.
AS Roma manager Mourinho made an appearance on RAW back in 2007, when WWE came to London, and he was insulted by Shane McMahon.
Ronaldo's former teammate at Manchester United, Rooney, slapped Wade Barrett on a RAW show in Manchester in 2015.
