Former Bafana Bafana striker, Siphiwe Tshabalala has left fans divided after sharing a photo of himself wearing the shirt of an English Premier League club.
The winger, who had a remarkable career with Premier Soccer League side Kaizer Chiefs, has been blasted by some of the club's supporters.
AmaKhosi fans feel many people follow the former South African international and he should use the channel to promote the PSL club, where he remains a legend.
Many fans also stated they would have 'gone to any length' to defend Tshabalala but he has left them disappointed.
The 38-year-old recently shared a picture of himself in Manchester City's sky blue shirt, which has surprised some Chiefs’ supporters.
He never had a stint in the Premier League and the only time he played outside South Africa was his one season with Turkish side, BB Erzurumspor.

Some fans have since called him out for publicly donning the colours of the Etihad Stadium outfit. One said, per The South African:
"No Tshabalala ale ba botse gore since wena are they City fans but majita ba rona mo kasi are dealt with decisively"
Another fan lamented:
"What were you supporting before 2010 Shabba?"
One fan felt Tshabalala was hurting his own reputation:
"Easy just .ntho tse monate .dumela bra yaka"
Another fan urged him to return to Chiefs:
"Hi shabba why don’t you come back home my brother look how the team struggles pls pls we need you"

Sports Brief also reported on former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns star, Khama Billiat still keeping a low profile despite being linked with a few clubs.
The Zimbabwean player was last seen at the AmaKhosi's Naturena Village on June 29 this year, a day before his contract with the club was due to expire.
As noted by the Kaizer Chiefs website, the club reached out to the player to negotiate a contract extension but said they could not get in touch with him.
