Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen was linked with a move to English Premier League side, Manchester United in the summer but the move ultimately failed to materialise.
The Super Eagles star had a stunning season with Napoli in the previous campaign as he led them to their first Serie A Scudetto in over three decades.

The former Lille star opted to stay in Italy and has scored three goals in the Italian top flight so far this season.
Why Osimhen did not join Manchester United
Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has revealed why the Red Devils missed out on signing the Nigerian international, during the Monday’s Debrief podcast for CaughtOffside.
"With the takeover, they may have had the chance to go for superstar players, there were links with players like Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen, but it wasn’t possible with their financial situation.
"This could have been an issue, links for that kind of player couldn’t materialise, and they had to go with a different strategy."
Romano also confirmed that he does not have any news about some players rejecting a move to Erik ten Hag's side due to a possible takeover at the top.
"I don’t have any news on the players rejecting United because of the takeover, it’s something normal in football," he added.
