Juventus Fan Hilariously Alters Pogba’s Name to Drogba on Jersey After Doping Allegations

A Juventus fan is caught creatively not wanting to associate with Paul Pogba after his doping allegations, which has left him provisionally suspended.

Pogba failed a random doping test and was said to have higher levels of the male hormone testosterone in his body, though he is due a counter-analysis to clarify the incident.

The France international has battled muscle injuries since his return to Juventus last summer and missed the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, playing just 172 minutes last season.

His agency, through Rafaela Pimenta, denied the claims he intentionally took the substance and awaited the outcome of the further test, which is expected to arrive on October 5.

Juventus fan edits Pogba's name

As shared on Twitter by Troll Football, a Juventus fan has been spotted at the Allianz Stadium with a Pogba jersey but pasted "DR" over the P to change the name to Drogba.

The Bianconeri are said to be considering terminating his contract, which runs till 2026 if he is found guilty, as he risks a ban of up to four years.

His teammate and American midfielder Weston McKennie sent a message to the 30-year-old ahead of the game against Lazio.

“He’s a close friend and teammate, so hopefully the best comes out for that,” McKennie told DAZN via Football Italia.

When Pogba almost retired
