Chelsea Plot £60m January Move For High Flying West Ham's Rice

Chelsea have renewed their interest in signing West Ham star DeclanRice for a fee reported to be around £60mllion during the January window, reports from Mirror claims.
The England midfielder has been linked with the west London club during the summer and he is one of Frank Lampard's huge admirers.
The Blues were unable to raise £60m for the Englishman after spending £220m on new players that arrived Stamford Bridge last summer.
However, according to The Athletic, the Premier League giants are ready to relaunch their bid for the versatile midfielder in January.
The 21-year-old signed a new deal in 2018 that will see him remain with the Hammers until the summer of 2024., with an option of another year.
The England international has played 117 times for the Irons and scored three goals in the process and making first-team action for club and country in the new season.
But Lampard prefers to play the youngster in the center-back position rather than the midfield and Rice made it clear his preferred position is the midfield.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Krasnodar vs Chelsea saw four players from the Russian side refused to take a kneel for the Black Lives Matter movement before kick-off.
All members of Frank Lampard's squad knelt down but the majority of players from the club were not interested in the gesture.
