Jude Bellingham took a sly swipe at Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe when questioned about the Frenchman's potential move to Real Madrid.

Despite being a long-standing target for the Spanish club, Mbappe's transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium remains uncertain after his sensational U-turn which saw him extend his PSG contract.

As his current deal with the French champions approaches expiration next summer, speculation surrounding the 24-year-old's transfer to Madrid has resurfaced, per the Mirror.

When asked about the possibility of the 2018 World Cup winner joining him in Spain, Bellingham - who has been in excellent form since the start of the season - aimed a subtle dig at Mbappe.

"Mbappé at Real Madrid? I love my current teammates & think they’re all fantastic," the former Borussia Dortmund captain replied as quoted by Madrid Zone.

"I only focus on myself and work together with people who want to be here. Our motivation is success, not other things like money."

Meanwhile, Mbappe has seamlessly reacclimated to PSG's first-team line-up and wasted no time in making his presence felt, notching five goals in just three Ligue 1 matches.
