Despite being a long-standing target for the Spanish club, Mbappe's transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium remains uncertain after his sensational U-turn which saw him extend his PSG contract.

As his current deal with the French champions approaches expiration next summer, speculation surrounding the 24-year-old's transfer to Madrid has resurfaced, per the Mirror.

When asked about the possibility of the 2018 World Cup winner joining him in Spain, Bellingham - who has been in excellent form since the start of the season - aimed a subtle dig at Mbappe.
