Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has discussed the allure of potentially joining the Saudi Pro League as he contemplates the next chapter of his career.
Griezmann has frequently expressed his ambition to follow in Lionel Messi's footsteps and compete in the Major League Soccer (MLS).
He has openly acknowledged his interest in Messi's journey in the United States. Although linked to a move to Messi's team, Inter Miami, Griezmann is currently contracted with Atletico until 2026, according to Football Espana.
While representing France on international duty, the 2018 World Cup winner was asked whether he would follow the example of former French teammates N'Golo Kante and Karim Benzema, who made moves to Saudi Arabia during the summer.

The French forward also lauded Messi's significant influence on the league and noted that the presence of Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, former teammates who joined Messi at his new club, has elevated the overall quality of the MLS.
