Chelsea have reportedly made a brutal decision over the future of Trevoh Chalobah after the midfielder allegedly declined to leave the club on transfer Deadline Day.

The Blues have been undergoing a radical transformation since the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino, with the club offloading a number of key players during the summer transfer window.

More than 20 players were shipped out during the window, with the likes of N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Edouard Mendy, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount, and Kai Havertz all departing.

Chalobah is understood to have been one of the other players earmarked for sale, with a Deadline Day move mooted.

According to Sportbible, the 24-year-old is reportedly unlikely to have a prominent role upon his return from injury in late September, especially after the arrival of Axel Disasi from Monaco.

Could Chalobah be exiled?

So much so that reports are claiming that Chalobah is facing the prospect of getting exiled from Chelsea after he turned down a transfer move in the summer.

Football London reports that Bayern Munich, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham are among the clubs who were interested in signing Chalobah.

It is believed that Nottingham came in with a late proposal to sign the centre-back, only for him to reject the move.

The Chelsea academy graduate has now reportedly been told there is a chance he won't play for the club again after declining the Forest transfer.
