KAA Gent forward, Gift Orban has been all over the internet after hilariously performing Last Last by Burna Boy during his initiation into the Super Eagles team.

The Belgium-based striker earned his first invite to the Nigeria national team ahead of the final 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.

Orban has been in red-hot form for his club and he is expected to play a key role for the three-time Africa champions as Jose Peseiro prepares his team for AFCON 2023 in Ivory Coast.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Orban left his teammates in delirium as he tried to sing the hit record by the Grammy award-winning Nigeria singer.

Orban, whose mother is Togolese, chose to play for the Super Eagles because of his love for Nigeria.

“I don’t like Nigeria, I love it [Nigeria]. This country has good players, good talents. I love this country,” Orban said, as quoted by soccernet.ng.
“It is not true. I never played for Benin or Togo, many people will talk, but I never played for Togo. Although, Togo needs players, but for me, I don’t want to play for Togo.”

The Super Eagles will host Sao Tome and Principe in Oyo as they round up their AFCON qualifiers on Sunday.

Super Eagles arrive in Oyo for Sao Tome clash

Jose Peseiro named a strong squad for the dead rubber game against the Falcons and True Parrots Team.

The Super Eagles Camp opened on Wednesday, September 6, at the Four Points by Sheraton, with all 23 players already checked in.
