Ronaldinho taught a pitch invader a bitter lesson by rolling back the years to pull off a move from his famous and known skillset.

The retired football star recently took part in Legend's games, featuring for Barcelona as they played against the legends of Israeli sides Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

In the game against the former, an overzealous fan made his way to Ronaldinho, bringing play to a temporary halt as the stewards hunted him down.

The invader almost made it to Ronaldinho, only for the Brazilian to make fun of the situation by pulling off a dummy to evade him. The former Blaugrana forward first jumped into the way of the invader before quickly withdrawing in what is a classic move in many major sports.

The fan at one point who thought he would get his dream of getting or hugging the 2005 Ballon d'Or winner was left embarrassed with the stewards apprehending him a few seconds later.

Here is the video of that incident:

Ronaldinho was left with a smirk on his face, seemingly proud that he could still pull off a few moves even in his retirement years.

Barcelona Legends came from behind to win the game 5-1, as captured by the club's website.

When Ronaldinho named three players better than Messi

Sports Brief has also reported that Ronaldinho once made controversial comments when he was asked about Lionel Messi's place in football history.

Messi is often regarded as the best player ever, alongside his arch-nemesis, Cristiano Ronaldo, with the two dominating every top competition for close to 15 years. One would have thought that having seen and trained with Messi first-hand, Ronaldinho would jump at the opportunity to declare him the best ever.

However, while admitting the Argentine was a legend in his own right, the Brazilian surprisingly fell short of declaring him the best ever and instead chose three other players he believed were superior.
