Blaugrana Legends opened the scoring courtesy of former Argentine forward Javier Saviola who latched on to a stunning assist from Ronaldinho. However, after just six minutes, Barak Badash levelled things up for the home side.

The Catalans were not deterred by the equaliser and, in clutch Barcelona style, controlled the game and, following a barrage of missed chances, took the lead courtesy of a penalty from Brazilian superstar Rivaldo ahead of the interval.

The second half, however, as reported by Barcelona's official website, saw debutant Bojan Krkic come on within four minutes off a Trashorras assist.

Former midfielder Jofre Mateu further extended Barcelona’s lead to 4-1 with a fine solo goal. The Israeli club attempted a fightback when they sprung to life courtesy of quick-fire goals from Turgeman and Haim which brought them back into contention.

The Catalan club, however, settled things when Roger Garcia slotted home the club’s fifth courtesy of an assist from Argentine Saviola, who subsequently clinched the MVP award.

As reported by Israeli Times, the Catalan club's legends will be in action again on Thursday when they come up against Maccabi Haifa.

Barcelona claim La Liga is 'rigged'

In another report, Sports Brief stated that Barcelona are accusing Real Madrid of being favoured by referees to win the 2023/24 La Liga trophy, only four matchdays into the new campaign.

The Catalan giants are unhappy with most of the refereeing decisions that have taken place so far this season, claiming that match officials are favouring Real Madrid.
