Kenyans have taken to social media to heap praise on national women volleyball team Malkia Strikers after seeing off Senegal in the ongoing African Championship in Cairo on Saturday evening, July 13.
Malkia Strikers stunned the West African nation with a straight sets victory of 25-13, 25-13 and 25-19 to set up a mouthwatering clash with Cameroon whom they beat in the group stage in the finals.

Their success over the Senegalese effectively brought Malkia Strikers a step away from their 10th continental crown.
But Kenyans online hilariously argued the momentous win over Senegal settled the conjectured beef between Harambee Stars and Senegal.
Lions of Teranga defeated Kenya 3-0 in the African Cup of Nations in their last Group C clash to dash Stars' hopes of of progressing to the next round of the competition.
One user posted: "This is what we're for . #MalkiaStrikers paid back so well to Senegal."
