FAR Post reported that Nurkovic is currently training with TS Galaxy and is likely to join the club permanently.

He has also been linked with sides like Cape Town City and Morocco’s Raja Casablanca.

Before his stint at Shauwn Mkhize’s side, Nurkovic turned out in the colours of Kaizer Chiefs. He made 78 appearances for the Amakhosi during that time, scoring 21 goals and registering 10 assists, Transfermarkt reported.

Nurkovic’s battle with Royal AM

The Serbian attacker is eager to return to playing football while he waits for his legal battle with Royal AM to be resolved.

The club released the player while he was injured and before he made a professional appearance for the side and then took the matter to FIFA.

The governing body ruled in his favour and ordered MaMkhize’s side to pay him in the region of R12 million. This includes his salary for his entire contract.

As noted by SABC Sport, the KwaZulu-Natal club appealed the decision, but the matter was thrown out of court.

Royal AM in hot water with FIFA

Royal AM have found themselves in hot water with football’s international governing body.

FIFA have clamped down on Shauwn Mkhize’s side, and the punishments could worsen in the coming days.

FIFA found Royal AM guilty of unfairly dismissing former attacker Samir Nurkovic and have fined the club as a result, Sports Brief reported.

Royal AM sign Samir Nurkovic

Royal AM have started making bold moves on the transfer market, Sports Brief earlier reported.

Samir Nurkovic was unveiled as one of the new signings.

After leaving Kaizer Chiefs, the player joined Shauwn Mkhize’s side on a free transfer.
