Cristiano Ronaldo and his superstar teammate, Sadio Mane, continued their prolific scoring spree in the Saudi Pro League as Al-Nassr cruised past Al Hazm, extending their winning streak.

After encountering some early resistance from the home side, Al-Nassr finally broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute, with Abdulrahman Ghareeb notching his first goal of the campaign courtesy of an assist from Ronaldo.

A mere three minutes later, Sadio Mane found the back of the net, only for VAR to disallow the goal, much to the frustration of the Al-Nassr bench.

Nevertheless, the reigning Arab Cup champions extended their lead just before halftime, with the hardworking midfield linchpin, Al Khaibari, doubling the advantage in first-half stoppage time.

Hazm briefly threatened a comeback when Mohamed Badamosi unleashed a spectacular strike from nearly 30 yards out to reduce the deficit.

However, their resurgence was swiftly quelled as Otavio finished off a delightful sweeping move that involved Marcelo Brozovic and Ronaldo.

CR7 himself will also get his name on the scoresheet to take his tally to six goals this season eight minutes after the hour mark, taking his total tally for the season to six, Sporting News reports.

Shortly thereafter, the Riyadh-based club added the finishing touch to the victory through the impressive Sadio Mane, who was the beneficiary of another intricate build-up by Al-Nassr.

This win extended their winning streak to three games, during which they have scored an impressive 14 goals while steadily climbing the Saudi League standings, according to BBC.

Ronaldo reaches milestone 850 goals

Relatedly, Cristiano Ronaldo reached a momentous milestone in his storied career during the same encounter.

Beyond securing the goals and three vital points crucial for the club's pursuit of the early league leaders, this victory also etched a historic chapter in Ronaldo's journey.

It marked his 850th career goal, solidifying his status as the first footballer in history to attain such an extraordinary milestone in goal-scoring, Sports Brief reported.
