Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie continued his goal-scoring run in the Saudi Pro League after netting a screamer in Al Ahli's victory over Al Ta'ee on Tuesday night.
The former Barcelona star fired from outside the box to beat Al Ta'ee's goalkeeper as Al Ahli secured all three points with a 2-0 win.
Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring six minutes before half-time after connecting to Allan Saint-Maxim's cross.
In a video shared on social media, Mahrez went from scorer to provider after finding Kessie a few meters outside the box, with the Ivory Coast star's first control placing the ball perfectly on his left foot, before he smashed home from distance.
The victory keeps Al Ahli joint top of the table with Al Ittihad, with the two teams winning all four opening matches of the new campaign.
The Royals will next travel to Al Fateh as the quest to win the Saudi Pro League continues.
Al Ahli signed Edouard Mendy, Mahrez, Saint-Maxim and Kessie in the summer transfer window following their return to the topflight, as reported by the BBC.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Al Ahli maintained their hundred percent start to the Saudi Pro League season after Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie scored late to secure victory against Al Akhdoud.
The former Barcelona player headed home from a sumptuous cross from Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez in the 96th minute as the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium erupted in excitement.
It was Kessie's first goal for the club since joining in the summer transfer window while Mahrez continues to assist goals for his teammates.
