- Jude Bellingham is having a phenomenal start to his Real Madrid career
- He scored the winning goal for Madrid in their game against Celtas Vigo on Friday
- He has now equalled Cristiano Ronaldo's record after three games
Jude Bellingham's dream start to his Real Madrid career continued after he scored his team's winning goal against a stubborn Celta Vigpo suide on Friday, August 25.
The 20-year-old arrived in Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in a €103 million deal earlier this summer and has quickly become a fan favourite at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The young Englishman scored from close range nine minutes from time against a difficult Celta Vigo side managed by former Madrid coach Rafael Benitez. The goal gave Madrid a hard-fought away win, their third straight win this season, per Eurosport.
With the goal, he now has four goals in his first three La Liga games, becoming the first player to achieve that feat for Madrid since Cristiano Ronaldo back in 2009.
The youngster could be in for a historic first season at Real. Moreover, he is yet to make his home debut since Madrid have played all of their games away from home this season due to renovations
The former Birmingham star scored on his La Liga debut against Athletic Bilbao before bagging his first-ver brace for the Spanish side to help them come back from a goal down against Almeria to win 3-1.
Bellingham equals Hazard’s La Liga record
Meanwhile, Bellingham has now scored as many La Liga goals for Real Madrid in three games as Eden Hazard managed in 4 years during his time with the Spanish giants.
The 20-year-old British midfielder has scored four league goals for Real Madrid in three games, a record that took Eden Hazard four years and a total of 54 games to achieve, per Transfermarkt.
Eden Hazard is currently a free agent after being released from his contract by Real Madrid and is reportedly contemplating retiring from football after receiving no offers from European clubs.

Sports Brief also reported on Borussia Dortmund sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, stating that he does not think Bellingham was being critical of Dortmund with his comments about the high standards at Real Madrid.
The Englishman made 132 appearances for the Bundesliga side, scoring 24 goals and assisting in a further 25, but Kehl said the statement was likely not meant as a dig at Bellingham's former team or his time with them.
