IShowSpeed is making a solid case that he is Cristiano Ronaldo’s No. 1 fan.
He is loyal and passionate about supporting the Portuguese superstar, even traveling thousands of miles to watch him play.
That didn’t stop one fan from asking Speed before the Inter Miami vs. FC Cincinnati match if there was a chance Lionel Messi could replace Ronaldo as his GOAT.
Speed’s Messi GOAT take
Speed had a funny reply to the question as he listed the things Messi should do to become his GOAT.
The American YouTuber thought about it for a second before answering, saying:
“Messi will have to change his last name to Ronaldo. Messi will have to change his birth records to Portugal. Messi will have to change his appearance. Ronaldo for life, SIUUUUUU.”
Speed isn’t happy with Messi
Messi showed his GOAT-like qualities to IShowSpeed when he played against FC Cincinnati in Wednesday night’s U.S. Open Cup semifinals.
He delivered two assists to Leonardo Campana in the second half, including one deep into second-half stoppage time, to tie the match at 2-2.
Speed couldn’t believe it when Inter Miami forced extra time, saying:
“It’s every time. Messi comebacks [sic] every time.”
He was seen on video celebrating seconds before the equalizing goal, saying:
“Messi took his first L in Ohio.”
That didn’t happen, with Inter Miami staging another epic comeback to win 5-4 on penalties and reach another cup final.

It wasn’t the first time that Speed saw Messi’s brilliance live.

FootballSports Brief reported that he was in attendance when the Argentine star debuted for Inter Miami against Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup.
Speed became a Messi fan when the latter scored a late free kick for the 2-1 win, revealing he was wearing the Inter Miami star’s jersey after the stunning goal.
