FootballTrouble for Antony As Ex Wife Prepares to File Police Report for Alleged Domestic Violence
- Antony's ex-partner is preparing to lodge a report with authorities in England over the Manchester United star
- She has previously accused the footballer of domestic violence on several occasions while they were dating
- According to her representatives in England, the Brazilian could face at least three different counts of crime
Manchester United winger Antony is back in the news for the wrong reasons after reports indicated that his ex-wife is preparing to file a police report.
Gabriela Cavallin, through her legal representatives, are preparing to seek legal redress over alleged domestic violence that happened in England.
Inside Antony's alleged domestic violence
It is the second time the case has popped up after Cavallin filed similar charges with Brazilian authorities in June. In the earlier case, Sports Brief reported that she accused the Brazilian of threatening her and injuring her on several dates during and after their relationship.
In a report filed at the 5th Women’s Police Station in Sao Paulo, Brazil and as captured by ESPN Brazil, Cavallin states that Antony first attacked her on July 2022. She alleges they were at a nightclub when he colluded with the security agents to throw her out.
Bodily harm
She goes further to state that the footballer hit her against a car. The report indicates that Cavallin was, at that time, 17 weeks pregnant, but she miscarried a few days later. She, however, doesn't directly blame Antony's alleged actions for the loss of her unborn child.
In the new case, the DJ and influencer has prepared a 70-page document seen by Brazilian publication UOL. Her lawyer, Vanessa Souza, claims the former Ajax star could face up to three counts of crime in England. Souza claims to have made contact with the legal department at Old Trafford and they have taken the case 'very seriously.'

Mason Greenwood situation
Sports Brief had earlier reported that a Manchester United top official has broken the silence over Mason Greenwood's situation at the club.
The youngster is yet to be re-integrated back into the team months after the charges he was facing were dropped.
United are understood to have initiated a private probe into the matter to determine Greenwood's fate at Old Trafford.
