Morocco international goalkeeper, Yassine Bono is closing in on a potential move to Saudi club Al-Hilal in a mega deal.
It was gathered that the club have reached an agreement with Spanish outfit Sevilla for €21 million – a fee that exceeds the €20 million that the Andalusian side was asking for the Morocco international.
Get Football News Spain reports that Bono’s contract with Sevilla runs until 2025, but his impressive performances at the 2022 FIFA World Cup saw clubs like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich jostling for his signature.
Reports have it that the goalkeeper has opted for the offer from Al-Hilal, where he will sign a deal until 2026 and receive a salary of €12m net per season.
The 32-year-old will team up with fellow new Al-Hilal signing, Neymar, and earn significantly more than his €4m (gross) salary per season at Sevilla.
Sevilla are now on the lookout for a new first-choice goalkeeper for the 2023-24 campaign.
