Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president and CEO of Paris Saint-Germain, has responded to Neymar Junior's groundbreaking transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.
Neymar departs PSG after a six-season tenure during which he secured 13 trophies and netted 118 goals in 173 matches, establishing himself as the club's fourth-highest scorer of all time.
At 31 years old, he now joins the ranks of high-profile stars making the transition to the Saudi Pro League, with Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Al Nassr leading the way.
According to talkSPORT, the Brazil international is set to enjoy a substantial salary at his new club, reportedly earning around £138 million per season.
Challenges marred the latter part of Neymar's tenure at the French club, as he faced explicit chants from fans outside his residence.
Nevertheless, the club recognizes Neymar as a true legend, and club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has responded to his move to the Gulf nation.
"It is always difficult to say goodbye to an amazing player like Neymar, one of the best players in the world, said as quoted by the club's official website.
"I will never forget the day he arrived at Paris Saint-Germain and what he has contributed to our Club and our project over the last 6 years. We had a great moment, and Neymar will always be a big part of our history.

He will link up with Ruben Neves, former Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and compatriot Malcom at the Riyadh-based club.
