Mane played a pivotal role in the competition despite joining the Saudi giants halfway into the tournament, creating the important winner against Al-Shorta in the semi-final.

In a clip on social media, a fan quizzed the AFCON winner about Salah during Al-Nassr's celebrations and he had a cheeky response, with many claiming he is trolling his former teammate.

Mane responded to say he has an AFCON title while the Liverpool attacker is yet to win the competition with Egypt.

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old's first assignment as captain of Al-Nassr ended with the Knights of Najd suffering defeat to Al-Ettifaq in their Saudi Pro League opener.

Mane scored his side's only goal in the 2-1 loss on Monday night, as reported by football.co.uk.
