Former Nigerian international, Daniel Amokachi, has uncovered an unusual cake as his ex-teammate Jay Jay Okocha clocks 50.

Legendary dribbler, Okocha, was born in Enugu on August 14, 1953, and is celebrating his golden jubilee with his friends and business associates in Lagos.

Although he did not win the coveted CAF Player of the Year Award during his playing days, the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is one of Nigeria’s greatest players of all time.

He was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1994 and a member of the Dream Team that won gold in 1996 in Atlanta, USA.

As he clocks 50, a number of African football legends were spotted in Lagos as they all shared the special day with the superstar.

Daniel Amokachi could be seen dancing with the Jay Jay-themed cake, specially designed in the image of the former Bolton Wanderer’s captain.

Captioning the clip, ‘The Bull’ wrote:

“HBD BROTHER Jay Jay Okocha. Wishing Many More Joyful Years Ahead.”

And other former footballers and fans have continued to celebrate the master dribbler. Former goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama wrote:

“Happy birthday Jay Jay Okocha, God bless your new age.”

Another added:

“You’re always in happy mood, I like that.”

Another added:

“Happy Birthday @official_jj10 God bless you in good health Amen.”

African legends storm Lagos for Okocha

Sports Brief earlier reported that Nigerian legend, Jay Jay Okocha, welcomed some of the finest footballers from the African continent as he celebrated his 50th birthday in Lagos, Nigeria.

The superstars turned up at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos; amongst them was Togolese legend Emmanuel Adebayor.

Other superstars spotted were Ghana’s Asamoah Gyan, Khalilou Fadiga of Ghana, Nigeria’s Peter Rufai, Ifeanyi Udeze, Daniel Amokachi, Emmanuel Emenike, Julius Aghahowa, Joseph Yobo and a host of others.
