Cristiano Ronaldo singlehandedly won the Arab Club Champions Cup for Al Nassr after netting a brace in the final to inspire his team to a comeback victory over Al Hilal.

Al Hilal took an early second half lead and were cruising to victory when the Portuguese superstar showed up with a moment on brilliance in the final 15 minutes.

The 38-year-old latched onto Al Ghanam's cross from the right to level the score with Al Nassr a man down following the red card to Abdulelah Alamri four minutes earlier.

Brazilian duo Malcom and Michael combined to give Al Hilal the lead in the 51st minute, but the game had to travel to extra time following Ronaldo's goal.

Eight minutes into extra time, Ronaldo headed home from a Sekou Fofana curler which hit the crossbar.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star has now won his first-ever trophy with Saudi club Al Nassr after just six months with the Yellow and Blues.

He is expected to help them win the Saudi Pro League which began this weekend, with Al Nassr set to play Al Ettifaq in their opener.

Ronaldo comes to Al Nassr's rescue

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his fifth goal in a row for Al Nassr in the Arab Club Champions Cup.

The veteran forward lashed onto a brilliant cross from the right from Al Ghanam to cancel a second half lead from Al Hilal's Michael.

The Portuguese striker is chasing his first trophy since joining the Saudi Arabian club in January 2023.

Ronaldo sends classy message to teammates

Cristiano Ronaldo has shared his excitement after leading Al Nassr into the Arab Club Champions Cup final.

The 38-year-old scored the only goal of the game as Al Nassr defeated Iraqi champions Al-Shorta to book a place in the final against rivals Al Hilal.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward praised his teammates and fans of the club following their latest achievement.
