Nigerian internationals, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were on the scoresheet as Leicester City brushed Burton aside in a Carabao Cup first-round clash.
Leicester City defeated the hosts 2-0, with the Nigerian superstars finding the back of the net inside the Pirelli Stadium on Wednesday night.
In what could be described as the coldest of finishes, Iheanacho tucked home a wonder goal with a deft touch in the 6th minute to put his side ahead.
Soccernet reports that it was an audacious back-heel effort by the Nigerian which found the back of the net, as the home fans were silenced in the early exchanges.
He then set up a made-in-Nigeria goal when he assisted fellow compatriot Wilfred Ndidi to grab the second goal of the encounter in first-half added time.
Iheanacho was voted Man of the Match, and now Leicester will be guests of Tranmere in the next round of the cup competition.
Iheanacho wins Leicester award
Meanwhile, Iheanacho was named Leicester City's best player for the 2022/23 Premier League season despite the club losing its status in the English top flight.
Despite featuring in only 13 Premier League games last season, the Nigerian star managed to score five goals for the Foxes.
He is now the first Nigerian to win Leicester City's Player of the Year Award and the first African to claim it since Algerian forward, Riyad Mahrez did the same in 2016.
