  • Paris Saint-Germain wants a permanent transfer for Neymar if he is to leave this summer
  • The Ligue 1 champions are kicking against a loan option as clubs line up for his signature
  • Barcelona, Chelsea, and Al-Hilal are among clubs reported to have enquired about Neymar

Neymar Junior’s time at Paris Saint-Germain looks all but over, but the Ligue 1 club will only allow his departure with some stringent conditions this summer.

New PSG coach, Luis Enrique, has reportedly informed the Brazilian he will not be part of his plans for the 2023/24 season as the Parisians look to shed his huge wage bill.

According to PSG Talk, PSG have communicated their insistence on parting ways with Neymar on a permanent transfer, rather than a loan deal with an option to buy.

After missing out on Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, Saudia Arabia’s Al-Hilal is pulling all the stops to land the 31-year-old, whose current deal in France is set to run out in 2025.

Neymar, however, is said to prefer finding a solution within Europe and remaining in a competitive league as Chelsea and his former club, Barcelona, show interest in his services.

PSG slap €150mil on Neymar

Meanwhile, PSG has placed a price tag of €150 million on Neymar’s transfer as they seek to offload the world’s most expensive footballer before the start of the season, Barca Universal reports.

The Parisians and the Brazilian have agreed it is best they separate ways this summer but the French champions plan to recoup some of the €222mil they paid for the superstar in 2017.

PSG have begun a massive restructuring of the club after last season’s continental failure, which has seen Messi leave already, with Mbappe and Neymar also tasked with leaving this summer.

Neymar’s dad debunks exit talks

Meanwhile, Sports Brief reported on Neymar's future at PSG making headlines, following reports he had expressed a desire to leave the Ligue 1 champions.

L'Equipe's report about the Brazilian seeking to depart the French capital came at a time when they were primarily occupied with the Mbappe transfer saga.

Neymar Senior, a Brazilian businessman and entrepreneur who also serves as his son's agent, appears to be displeased with the publication's claims.
