The captain of the Super Eagles, Ahmed Musa, has told veteran Kannywood actor Baba Karkuzu to look for a house worth between 4 and 5 million nairas, saying he would buy it for him.

Musa reached out to the movie legend following reports that the actor’s health is failing due to hardships as he struggles to survive.

It was gathered that the actor made his challenges known as he continued to solicit financial assistance from the general public.

Speaking to Daily Trust, Karkuzu disclosed that he is now blind, adding that the house he lives in has been put up for sale by the owner. He said:

"I am now blind as I am talking to you. I seriously need financial assistance. I don’t have food to eat and feed my family.
"The house I have been living is now for sale. If they sell this house, I don’t know where to go. That is why I am soliciting help from well-meaning Nigerians to come to my aid. At least Nigerians should help me buy this house I am living.”

The situation was said to have touched Nigerian international, Ahmed Musa, who contacted the actor and sent N500,000.

Musa went further to inform Baba Karkuzu to look for a house worth between N4 million and N5 million, promising to pay for him.

The Sivasspor of Turkey star told Dokin Karfe TV as per Hausa One:

"I spoke to Baba Karkuzu over the phone and I sent him N500,000. After that, I told him to find a house worth 4 million to 5 million naira and I will buy it for him. From here we will see how I can help him more."

When Ahmed Musa rewarded four staff

Sports Brief earlier reported that Ahmed Musa rewarded four of his loyal staff with a house each, saying he wanted them to forget about rent.

The Sivasspor of Turkey forward has taken his philanthropic gestures to a new level by splashing on apartments on some of his workers.

The 30-year-old later disclosed that as much as he enjoys working closely with the four staff members, letting them have their own homes will make life a lot easier.
