Erik ten Hag has confirmed Manchester United's new summer arrival, Rasmus Hojlund, will miss the start of the new season.
Hojlund recently sealed his much-anticipated Man United move, penning a five-year contract at Old Trafford.
According to Sky Sports, the Red Devils forked out an initial fee of £64million with £8m in add-ons to land the 20-year-old from Atalanta.
His arrival came at a time United are in dire need of a formidable striker, having operated without a substantive one for the better part of last season.

Hojlund to miss start of the season
However, United fans will now have to wait a little longer before they can see what the Denmark international has to offer.
Ten Hag recently confirmed the star forward will miss the Red Devils' start of the new season with injury.
"It's difficult to say how that process will go, but I think he's making good progress at this moment. We have to see day by day how the progress will go, then we have to follow up," The Mirror quoted Ten Hag saying.
"Of course when he's available and he's here so you have the option to play, but we don't expect him in that short notice to be 100 per cent fit. So we have to wait sometime more. We need all positions doubled because of the number of games," he added.
