The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga is far from over and with the summer window ending soon, we could see another twist. The France captain is currently in a contract standoff with Paris Saint-Germain.
2023 Wimbledon champion, Carlos Alcaraz, has said he would love it if the forward joins Real Madrid, a club he's been linked with.
The 24-year-old had until midnight on July 31 to trigger a one-year extension to his PSG contract, but he did not do that. He was omitted from the club's pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea and put up for sale last month.
The club wants to sell him this summer because they don't want to lose him for nothing next summer. The Parisians reportedly believe he has agreed to join Real Madrid next summer as a free agent.
Mbappe was also a subject of Al-Hilal's world record €300 million (£259mil) offer for the player. The World Cup winner refused to speak with the Saudi Pro League side, per Sky Sports.

Los Blancos have one of the best squads in Europe, but they were beaten to the La Liga title by Barcelona and lost to eventual champions, Manchester City, in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League.
Mbappe, a former AS Monaco star, could be a Real Madrid player by the end of the summer transfer window.
“Every Real Madrid fan wants Mbappé in Madrid. Everyone wants to have him on their team. I see all the memes, and all that in Madrid and they make me laugh. But hopefully we will read some news that Mbappé is going to Madrid because I would love it,” Alcaraz said via AS.
