The designed jersey pays homage to the legendary five-time Ballon d'Or winner, a true testament to his immense impact on the club, per Sportskeeda.

For the 2023-24 season, the Portuguese club will adopt a black and yellow kit as their third jersey, bearing the iconic initials "CR7" prominently printed on it.

During his time at Sporting CP, the Real Madrid legend showcased his skills in 31 matches, registering five goals and contributing six assists before his transfer to Manchester United in the summer of 2003.

Coincidentally, August 6 marks the 20th anniversary of a remarkable display by the teenage Ronaldo in a pre-season friendly against Manchester United.

In that match, he delivered a dazzling performance that left seasoned veterans of the United team in awe, ultimatelyinfluencing the Red Devils' decision to sign him and bring him into their squad.

Ronaldo sets new record

Al Nassr were struggling to break through the Egyptian club's watertight defence when their captain Ronaldo, came up with a much-needed clutch moment in the 87th minute for the club.

The 38-year-old headed home his second goal of the season with a powerful finish earning his side a 1-1 draw on the night.

The headed goal scored by Ronaldo saw him become the first footballer to reach 300 goals without using his stronger foot, which is his right foot.

Per reports from Goal, a defeat would have seen Al Nassr finish third in Group C and face elimination from the tournament. But Ronaldo's intervention resulted in his side progressing as group runners-up behind fellow Saudi side Al-Shabab.

Ronaldo ranked best in Saudi

Sports Brief also reported the Portuguese veteran is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in football history, regardless of his current stint in the Saudi Pro League.

Numerous star players have transitioned from European football to the Saudi Pro League during the summer transfer window. However, Ronaldo ranks as the best of all.
