Pitso Mosimane has suffered his first loss since joining Saudi club Al Wahda as they went down 1-0 to Raja Casablanca in the King Salman Club Cup.
Both sides have already qualified for the quarter-final of the competition, but the encounter decided who finished top of Group D.
Ex-Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Haashim Domingo missed out on the encounter for Raja as the star is yet to feature under coach Josef Zinnbauer.
The only goal of the encounter came in the 26th minute when Zakaria El Wardi struck to send fans wild inside the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium.
It was the first defeat for Mosimane, who recently joined the UAE Pro League outfit, but the loss would not dampen their chances in the competition as they finished second in the group to set up a clash against Al Shabab in the quarter-final, SNl24 reports.
Raha, on the other hand, are billed to take on the Cristiano Ronaldo-led Al Nassr after the Portugal legend headed home the crucial goal against Zamalek to take his side through to the last eight.
When Mosimane left Al Ahli
Meanwhile, Mosimane’s future was in the air recently after announcing that he would leave Al Ahli.
Mosimane led the side to the Yelo League title and promotion to the Saudi Pro League. Despite his success, the club wanted to replace the South African with a more high-profile manager.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns manager also claimed that he and his technical team weren’t paid a salary for a few months.

FootballPitso Mosimane cautions Percy Tau
Sports Brief earlier reported that Percy Tau is open to a move back to Europe, but Pitso Mosimane cautioned him against rushing a decision.
The Al Ahly attacker has been linked with a move back to the continent after an impressive run of performances for Al Ahly and the South African national team.
Tau was instrumental as Al Ahly won the CAF Champions League and also played a starring role as Bafana Bafana beat Morocco to top their AFCON qualifying group.
