Across his 20-year-plus career with Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Juventus, and Al-Nassr, the 38-year-old has scored some iconic goals with his head. Sports Brief looks at some of his top-headed goals in his career.

Cristiano Ronaldo's top 10 headed goals

Portugal vs. Wales - Euro 2016

Ronaldo inspired Portugal to glory in the Euro 2016. He almost single-handedly won them the semi-final against Wales. He opened the scoring in the 5th minute with a towering header that flew past Wayne Hennessey. The goal demonstrated how great Ronaldo is at heading the ball. Wales' James Chester jumped with Ronaldo, but he had no chance.

Nani deflected Ronaldo's shot to seal a 2-0 win.

Real Madrid vs. Manchester United - UCL - 2013

This header is probably one of the best of all time. The pre-match hype was about Ronaldo, who was facing his former team, and it was a classic. United took the lead through Danny Welbeck, but the lead lasted just 10 minutes.

Ronaldo equalized with one of his best goals ever. Angel Di Maria whipped in a cross, and the Portuguese hung above Patrice Evra before heading past David De Gea, who was brilliant all night long. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Real Madrid vs. Barcelona - Copa del Rey final - 2011

The game ended 0-0 after normal time, and Ronaldo rose to the occasion in extra time. Di Maria delivered the goods again from the left wing. His inch-perfect cross was met by a touring Ronaldo, whose bullet header went past helpless Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto.

It was the goal that won Real Madrid the trophy against Pep Guardiola's Barca.

Manchester United vs. AS Roma - UCL - 2008

Before moving to Madrid in 2009, Ronaldo was destroying defenders in the Premier League and Champions League with Manchester United. In the first leg of their UCL quarter-final against AS Roma, Ronaldo bagged one of the greatest headed goals in football history.

Midfielder Paul Scholes had the ball in the right-wing before floating it in the Roma box. Before Scholes crossed the ball, Ronaldo wasn't even in the shot. With blistering pace, he found himself in the box, beating several Roma defenders in the air before powering a bullet into the net.

Juventus vs. Sampdoria - Serie A - 2019

Ronaldo shocked many by leaving Real Madrid in 2018 for Juventus. He made his mark in Italy, especially when he scored an iconic header against Sampdoria. He soared in the air, defying the laws of physics, outjumping every defender and floating in the air before scoring a sensational header.

The goal gave Juventus a 2-1 victory. Although he has many iconic goals, the header against Sampdoria is one of his best.

Comparing Guinness World Records

These records stand as a validation of their unparalleled excellence and serve as a reminder of their enduring legacy in the sport.
