  • There seems to be no love lost between the Portuguese veteran and the Old Trafford landlords

Cristiano Ronaldo’s cute daughter will likely leave Manchester United fans scratching their heads after she was spotted rocking a Liverpool shirt.

This is even though her dad played for one of the Reds' biggest arch-rivals over two stints.

Across two spells as a Red Devil, Ronaldo scored 145 goals in 346 appearances, cementing his place as one of the club’s all-time greats.

However, Ronaldo left United on bad terms, after slamming the club in a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan in November 2022.

Barely a year after leaving Old Trafford, the veteran's daughter - Alana Martina - appears to have moved on as an interesting snap showed her in a Mohamed Salah shirt.

The photo was shared by Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, who posted it on her Instagram to her followers of over 50 million.

As reported by The Sun, Alana is seen alongside her mom and two of her siblings at a salon. One of the other children is also rocking a jersey - a purple Real Madrid shirt.

Fans who spotted the picture had varying responses, with one claiming 'greatness recognises greatness', while another fan saw the jersey as a slice of savagery from the Ronaldo family.

The string of photos posted by Rodriguez also included her enjoying a jet ski ride.

Ronaldo ends Saudi goal drought

In news related to the Portuguese veteran, Sports Brief also reported on Ronaldo breaking his Al-Nassr goal drought with a header against US Monastir in the Arab Club Champions Cup.

In what is an iconic move, the captain of the Saudi Pro League side leaped high above everyone else and found the back of the net, after struggling to score since the start of the pre-season.

Mane vs Ronaldo's Saudi wages

Sports Brief also reported on the wages of Ronaldo versus Sadio Mane, following news that the Senegal star would be joining Al-Nassr in a £650,000 per week deal.

The former Liverpool forward will earn way less than his new teammate, who rakes in a massive £177 million each year from his basic salary at the Saudi Pro League side.
