Al-Nassr thrash Tunisian club

Brazilian forward, Anderson Talisca opened the scoring three minutes before halftime.

Unfortunately, the Knights of Nahd faced a setback when Al Oujami scored an own goal, allowing Monastir to draw level in the 66th minute.

But Ronaldo, the talisman of the team, rose highest to restore the lead with 16 minutes left on the clock, Inside Sport reports.

His goal ultimately dashed any hopes for Monastir, and Al Amri and Al Aliwa sealed the deal, providing the icing on the cake to give Luis Castro his first win as manager of the club.

Mane set to join Al-Nassr

Meanwhile, Sadio Mane is expected to undergo a medical before completing a switch to Saudi Pro League side, Al-Nassr.

The Saudi Pro League outfit agreed to a £24 million deal with Bayern to sign the former Liverpool winger.

The report also added that Mane will earn more than €40mil per year with the club, meaning his weekly salary will total £650,000.

Guardiola speaks on Ronaldo, SPL

Sports Brief also reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has shared his thoughts about the Saudi Pro League, which has stolen the show in the last few months by signing some top players from Europe.

Guardiola was speaking after his former player, Riyad Mahrez completed a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli for £30m.

The revered Spanish tactician said that Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo made it easy for other players to move to Saudi Arabia since he was the first big player to sign for a Saudi Arabian club.
