Inter Miami superstar, Lionel Messi, has revealed the top 10 of his favourite teammates throughout his career.

The Argentine has enjoyed a distinguished football journey spanning close to two decades, winning multiple titles and individual awards in the process.

Messi's incredible talents has earned him the rare privilege of playing alongside some of the finest players in the world at club and international level.

Per Sportbible, Messi made a name for himself during his impressive spell with Barcelona, where he scored an astonishing 672 goals in 778 appearances to establish himself as one of the greatest footballers of all time.

The forward followed up the spell with two years at Paris Saint-Germain before moving to Inter Miami this summer.

Messi names his favourite teammates

Recently, Messi named his favourite teammates throughout his career.

The 36-year-old started by naming Brazilian icon, Ronaldinho, before he added a string of other players who he played alongside at Camp Nou.

"Ronaldinho, Deco, [Samuel] Eto'o, [Luis] Suarez, Xavi, [Andres] Iniesta, [Sergio] Busquets," the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner said, via the Daily Mirror.
"I was lucky enough to play with the best players and enjoy the game with them. Speaking of which, I almost forgot about Neymar [Junior] because there are so many people," Messi continued.

The 2022 World Cup winner went on to add Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Villa to his esteemed list.

Messi to return to Barcelona

In related news, Sports Brief reported that Messi will return to Barcelona again before he retires permanently, as revealed by Inter Miami owner, Jorge Mas.

The 36-year-old won numerous trophies, including four UEFA Champions League titles, during his 17 years at the Catalan but left unceremoniously in 2021.

Messi remains Barcelona's all-time top goal-scorer, with a total of 672 scores, but turned down the opportunity to return to Camp Nou to sign for Inter Miami.
