- Reports suggest that PSG's frustration with Real Madrid may intensify further
Paris Saint-Germian contemplate filing an official complaint with FIFA over allegations of Real Madrid's communication with Kylian Mbappe.
The Parisians believe that the Frenchman has secretly agreed with Real Madrid to join them on a free transfer next summer.
Although the transfer window is often perceived as a battlefield with minimal rules, FIFA strictly prohibits any communication with players or reaching agreements beyond six months before the expiration of their contracts.
According to The Telegraph and Marca reports, PSG is contemplating submitting the complaint to FIFA.
It is unclear whether they have legitimate grounds for doing so, or if their intention is to exert pressure on Mbappe and Real Madrid to initiate negotiation talks.
Notably, FIFA has previously imposed transfer bans for instances of inadequate conduct.
Mbappe sends cryptic message
Kylian Mbappe has teased that he could be on his way to Real Madrid after posting a cryptic message on social media, with his future at Paris Saint-Germain still uncertain.
The 24-year-old sparked debate on social media after he posted a photo that caused fans to try deciphering his next move after being left out of PSG’s pre-season tour of Asia.
According to Goal, Mbappe caused speculation about replacing Karim Benzema at Real Madrid after posting a series of photographs, including one of three cards each showing the number 9.
Real Madrid making Mbappe bid?
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Paris Saint-Germain believes Spanish giants, Real Madrid will submit an 'unacceptable' bid for Mbappe near the transfer deadline.
The Ligue 1 champions have reportedly put the 24-year-old forward up for sale after he refused to extend his deal, which is set to expire at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
PSG is said to believe that Real Madrid will try to snap Mbappe up cheaply as the French forward is eager to leave them and join up with 14-time Champions League giants.
