Talented Ghanaian, Ibrahim Osman, registered his name on the scoresheet for the first time in the Danish Superliga as FC Nordsjaelland defeated AGF.

Osman, who came through the ranks at Nordsjaelland at the tail end of last season, showed incredible composure to finish off brilliantly as the visitors collected all three points.

Nordsjaelland got off to a great start after Benjamin Nygren broke the deadlock in the 35th minute but the lead lasted only six minutes, as Nicolai Poulsen levelled for the hosts just before the break.

Nygren went from scorer to provider in the second half as he found Osman, who made no mistake to restore Nordsjaelland's lead, as reported by GHANASoccernet.

Marcus Ingvartsen extended the advantage with four minutes remaining as last season's Superliga runners-up made it back-to-back wins in the new season.

Osman joined Nordsjaelland last season from the famed Right to Dream Academy and has gradually worked his way into the first team.

Nordsjaelland manager, Johannes Hoff Thorup, commented after the win per the club's official website:

"The victory obviously means that we back up Monday's good start with an even better start. We have a packed schedule next time, where we have to play European and Superliga, so we are aware of scraping together as many points as possible here at the start."

Many have touted his young rising star, Osman, to follow in the footsteps of compatriots like Ernest Nuamah, Mohammed Kudus, and Kamaldeen Sulemana.

Nuamah wins award in Demark

Meanwhile, Sports Brief reported on Nuamah celebrated his Black Stars invite by scooping the best player award for the spring period in the Superliga.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian forward was voted as the best player in the Danish league by coaches following his outstanding displays for Nordsjaelland.

Nuamah, who scored 12 goals in the previous season in Denmark's top flight, went from the sixth-best player in the autumn period to being top by spring.

Marseille interested in Nuamah

Speaking of the 19-year-old, Sports Brief also reported on Nuamah being on Olympique Marseille's rader during the winter transfer window.

The Ghanaian star, who plays for FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark, has caught the attention of the French side after his performances in the Superliga.

According to Foot Mercato at the time, Marseille - former UEFA Champions League winners - were interested in signing Nuamah for the side.
