Atletico Madrid are still furious with Joao Felix following the Portugal forward’s comments where he claimed he would love to join Spanish rivals, Barcelona, in the future.
Felix appears to have ruined his relationship with Diego Simeone and Rojiblancos fans by publicly pushing for a move to Camp Nou after being exiled by Atleti last season.
According to Football Espana, Atletico will not look at any transfer offer for Felix until the Portugal international publicly apologises for his recent claims of wanting to leave.
He has been linked with a move away from Madrid ahead of the 2023/24 campaign after returning from a six-month loan spell at Chelsea, with Barcelona one of the interested clubs.
However, the Catalans cannot afford a summer offer for the 24-year-old, with Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain, rumoured to be considering a move for his signature.
