According to The Mirror, Wenger managed the north London club between 1996 and 2018, when he finally called time on his coaching career.

During the period, the former boss won three Premier League titles, seven FA Cup crowns, and two decades of Champions League football.

However, one of Wenger's greatest highlights at the Emirates is when he led Arsenal to an unbeaten Premier League campaign, a feat that has not been replicated to date.

Beyond his impact at Arsenal, Wenger also had a significant impact on English football, with his understanding of sports science playing a pivotal part in the evolution of the Premier League.

Wenger honoured with statue

In honour of Wenger's achievements at Arsenal, the club have unveiled a statue of their former manager outside the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners gave fans a glimpse of the statue by sharing a video of it on social media, with the caption: " Arsène Wenger’s statue: Crafted for a true Arsenal icon."

Fans were quick to comment under the video, with many taking some time to celebrate the legendary manager.

One tweeted:

"Can’t wait to take a picture with this."

A second added:

"He deserves it. Arsene Wenger is like the landmark to Arsenal."

Arsenal could miss 3 players for City clash

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Arsenal could be without three players when they face Man City in the Community Shield next Sunday at Wembley.

The three players include new signing Declan Rice, who picked up an injury during training.

The Arsenal trio missed the side's 5-3 thrilling win over Barcelona in a pre-season friendly played in the United States.
