The Argentine superstar continued wowing the crowd in his second game for Inter Miami, scoring twice in the Leagues Cup match against Atlanta United on Tuesday night.
He has now scored three goals in his first two matches for the Herons.
The 36-year-old set a new personal scoring record with his brace against Atlanta United.
Among the three professional clubs he played for, Messi racked up three goals the quickest with Inter Miami.

The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner accomplished that feat in just 58 minutes of action for the MLS side.
Messi played his first match for Inter Miami in the Leagues Cup contest against Cruz Azul on Friday. He entered that game as a substitute in the 54th minute.
He delivered late-game heroics in that match, scoring a dramatic free kick in second-half stoppage time to hand Inter Miami a 2-1 win.
Messi picked up right where he left off in the match against Atlanta United, scoring two quick goals in the first half, per Yahoo Sports.
