Paolo Di Canio Blasts Kylian Mbappe for Disrespecting Paris Saint-Germain
FootballInside Look at What Kylian Mbappe’s Contract Could Buy, Including the White House
- Kylian Mbappe has received the most lucrative and tempting offer in the history of sports
- Mbappe has been offered an excess of 700 million dollars for a single season to play in the Middle East
- We take a look at the things that kind of money would buy, hypothetically speaking
Kylian Mbappe's contract offer from Saudi Arabia has shaken the world, with his fellow sports stars also taken aback at the huge deal he has been offered.
As it stands, it is only a signature that is between Mbappe and a 776 million US dollars payday for one year. Al Hilal have equally offered more than 300 million dollars to Paris Sant Germain as transfer fees.
PSG will accept the offer, given their insistence that Mbappe has to sign a new deal at the club or get sold this summer. And to show just how serious they were, they omitted the French national team captain from their preseason tour, leaving him to train with the 'unwanted' group.
What Mbappe can buy if he accepts Saudi deal
Away from the Saudi Arabia deal, Mbappe will be faced with the prospect of sitting on the bench for the entire season. PSG have done it to Adrien Rabiot before.
But what if he accepts that deal? Just what if?
Sports Brief breaks down a couple of things the 24-year-old could buy with such a paycheque. For context, that salary is past triple the amount Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the best-paid athlete in the world, currently earns.
1. The White House
Not that it is up for sale, but should Mbappe so wish, he could walk up to the White House and 'force' Joe Biden to get new premises. The Architectural Digest reports that the estimated value of the official residence of the President of the United States is 400 million US dollars.
Heck, Mbappe would even remain with change to pay Ronaldo's one and half year salary.

Football2. Balmoral Castle
Or, if he doesn't fancy the White House, Mbappe might tempt the Royal family with an offer for what used to be the Queen's residence.
CBS News reports that the value of the Balmoral Castle stands at 140 million dollars.
3. Vacation in space
Should Mbappe accept the deal and then at one point decide that the beaches of Miami or the safari of Africa, or the arts of Bali are not thrilling tourist destinations, he might as well take his family on vacation in space.
A flight to the International Space Station costs 55 million dollars per seat for eight days, as Quartz reports. For that cost, Mbappe can take his father, mother, brother and adopted brother to space plus himself for an estimated cost of 275 million dollars.
Then use the change to buy the White House!
4. Planes
No, not a private jet. With that amount, Mbappe can buy a fleet of aeroplanes and establish his own airline. The Pilot Insititute reports that a commercial aeroplane costs between 80 million dollars to 200 million dollars.

FootballLet's go with a rough figure of 100 million for one; Mbappe can easily buy seven aeroplanes, one for each continent.
Mbappe Airways or Air Mbappe, if you may.
5. Private island
Mbappe might as well choose to establish his 'own country' by buying his own island. For example, according to Robb Report, the Blue Island in the Bahamas is a 707-Acre Island that will fetch around 125 million dollars. The Island has its own runway.
So Kylian, the decision is yours, either the White House, the Balmoral Castle or the Blue Island. Or two of them.
Technically, think of what your wildest dream costs, multiply it by three, four even and chances are, Mbappe could finance it and remain with a lot of money to finance the transport budget of a third-world country.
All he needs to do is to agree and sign.
