LeBron James added his name to the list of NBA players who are amazed at the offer French striker Kylian Mbappe got from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.

The Los Angeles Lakers star joked about the billion-dollar deal that Al Hilal has put on the table to acquire Mbappe’s services.

He posted a clip on Twitter of Forrest Gump running to share his sentiment.

James captioned his post by writing, “Me headed to Saudi when they call @RichPaul4 & @mavcarter for that 1-year deal!”

Al Hilal sent shockwaves through the sports world on Monday when news broke of them lodging a $1.1 billion bid to get Mbappe.

How much will Mbappe earn?

The jaw-dropping offer includes a $332 million transfer fee for Paris Saint-Germain and a mouth-watering one-year, $776 million salary for Mbappe.

TalkSport’s Alex Crook broke down that massive offer, saying that Mbappe will earn €22 per second, €1,332 per minute, €80,000 per hour, €1.9 million per day, €13.3 million per week, €58.3 million per month and €700 million for the entirety of his contract.

LeBron's a billionaire as well

James is a billionaire as well, thanks to his lifetime contract with Nike and other investment deals, per Yahoo.

He is set to make nearly $47 million with the Lakers next season, and his contract is set to be worth above $50 million in the 2024/25 campaign if he picks up his player option with Los Angeles.

Those numbers still pale in comparison to the money Mbappe is about to get from Al Hilal once he accepts the offer.

Giannis wants Al Hilal move

One NBA player who volunteered his services to the Saudi club following their offer to Mbappe was Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Sports Brief reported that the 'Greek Freak' joked on his Twitter post that he would gladly take the Frenchman’s place at Al Hilal.

Antetokounmpo, who recently cut his hair, tweeted: “Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe.” That drew a response from Mbappe, who replied with a dozen laughing emojis.
