Barcelona are reportedly set to meet with Paris Saint-Germain officials to discuss the possible transfer of wantaway France forward, Kylian Mbappe, this summer.
Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parisians after the Ligue 1 champions confirmed they are willing to offload the forward following his refusal to renew his contract.
The 24-year-old is entering the final year of his contract as PSG looks to cash in on the forward rather than lose him for free next summer when he becomes a free agent.
According to AS Soccer, Barcelona could include multiple players in the deal for Mbappe, as they know they are in no financial position to offer the kind of money PSG are looking for.
The Catalans are prepared to battle favourites, Real Madrid and Saudi Pro League side, Al-Hilal, who have offered the Ligue 1 champions a whopping €300 million for Mbappe.
Barcelona: Mbappe a tough deal
Meanwhile, Fansided records that the bid to sign Mbappe from PSG will be tough to pull off for the cash-strapped La Liga champions despite their genuine interest in the forward.
The French forward is likely to prefer to stay in his homeland for another year in order to earn his €70 million loyalty bonus rather than transfer to the Catalan giants this summer.
PSG might also demand Ousmane Dembele and Frenkie de Jong to be included in any possible deal for Mbappe, as they have long been admirers of the two Barcelona stars.
