  • Sadio Mane remains far from settled at Bayern Munich
  • The forward has been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia
  • Mane recently expressed his displeasure with the German media

Sadio Mane’s immediate future at Bayern Munich remains unsettled after the forward suffered a reported fallout with the German club hierarchy.

Mane, who joined the Bavarian club from Liverpool only last summer, has been linked with a move to a number of Saudi Pro League clubs.

The forward was again at the receiving end of media backlash after he missed a flurry of chances in the Bundesliga club's 27-0 win against ninth-tier side FC Rottach-Egern.

Mane expressed his dissatisfaction with how the media has scapegoated him after the encounter and his overall stint at the German champions.

Mane displeased with reporter

There is no denying that the Senegalese star has failed to translate his Liverpool form to the Bundesliga and has struggled to hit similar heights in his first season at Bayern Munich.

However, Mane appeared to have noticed the amount of backlash he has received from the media and he wasted little time showing how displeased he was with them.

In a video posted on Twitter by Maximilian Koch, an Abendzeitung reporter, the player was seen posing for a photo with a fan when a journalist approached.

Unlike his warm-hearted gesture towards the supporter, he had a slightly different approach to the reporter.

“You are killing me every day, and now you want me to talk to you guys? No point,” Mane said as he walked off the scene.

According to stats courtesy of Whoscored, in his first season in the Bundesliga, Mane was involved in 25 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.

In a previous report, Sports Brief reported that Mane's club future remains uncertain, with the player's manager making a U-turn about the Senegalese star's immediate destination.

The player’s manager, Bacary Cisse, recently denied the rumoured offers from clubs in the Middle Eastern country, even claiming that discussions had not taken place at all.

It remains to be seen where the forward’s immediate future lies.
